Figure Skating Club
Northeastern University Figure Skating Club (NUFSC) is a rapidly growing competitive collegiate club. NUFSC has private ice time at Matthews Arena during the Fall and Spring Semesters. NUFSC offers 15 minute weekly private lessons to all Gold members and biweekly for Silver members.​ Julie is the team coach along with Jaclyn Bozzetti, Laura Gayton (Ice Dance), and Kate McSwain (choreography) for Northeastern University’s Figure Skating Team since the 2016/2017 season.
The team is for students of all levels and abilities, from beginner to competitive, allowing all skaters the opportunity to continue the sport after high school. NUFSC competes in US Figure Skating intercollegiate competitions for the Eastern section. The 2020/2021 season, Northeastern University was represented at the National Virtual Team Maneuvers Challenge placing top ten.
